St. Francis Catholic Church, Benin City
Constant and persevering recourse to Jesus in the Eucharist,
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

About Us
Welcome to Our Parish Family
St. Francis Catholic Church has been a beacon of faith and community in our neighborhood for over 33 years. Founded in 1992, our parish has grown from a small gathering of faithful families, a Mass Centre in the University of Benin, Ekehuan Campus to a vibrant community of over 1,200 members.
We are guided by the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, embracing his message of peace, simplicity, and service to others. Our doors are always open to those seeking spiritual guidance, community fellowship, and a place to call home.
Our Sacred Mission
Through constant and persevering recourse to Jesus in the Eucharist, in union with Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, we strive to live out Christ's teachings in our daily lives. Our mission extends beyond our parish walls into the broader community.
We are committed to nurturing spiritual growth, fostering meaningful relationships, and serving those in need with compassion and love. Every soul that enters our church is welcomed as a cherished member of God's family.
A Thriving Community
Our parish offers numerous ministries and programs for all ages and walks of life. From our youth groups and religious education programs to our senior fellowship and charitable outreach initiatives, there's a place for everyone to grow in faith and service.
We believe that community is at the heart of faith. Through shared worship, fellowship meals, spiritual retreats, and community service projects, we build lasting bonds that reflect Christ's love for all people.
